"The State Government will distribute more than 1.2 million newsletters to South East Queensland households about the Western Brisbane Transport Network Investigation, Minister for Transport and Main Roads Paul Lucas said today."

"Mr Lucas told State Parliament today that households from Beenleigh in the south to Esk in the west and north to Caboolture would receive information about the study, including draft terms of reference."

Western Bypass

I fail to see how a bypass is bypassing anything if it carves up the middle of the occupied suburbs of Western Brisbane. The Beattie government is guilty of previously misleading the public on the portfolios of health and then on water management. Saying sorry doesn't cut it any more. They cannot be trusted not to do exactly the same on the issue of a bypass. Ring roads don't divide - they 'ring'. Same with bypasses if they want to link Warrego with Caboolture.
